GROUND FLOOR GALLERY, Belfast IRL. is proud to announce that internationally renowned multi-media artist Maggie Magee has been invited to showcase her art at this year's prestigious Florence Biennale, Italy. Magee has been nominated by the International committee, to represent Ireland at "The Biennale Internazionale Dell Arte Contemporanea", the largest exhibition of Contemporary Art in the world. The Florence Biennale is showcased on the Ground Floor in the Spadolini Hall in the exhibition centre of the Fortezza da Basso.. The Biennale will take place on the 5th to the 13th of December 2009. It is a great honour for Maggie as an Irish Artist to represent Ireland at this international venue, and a great honour, yet again, to be recognised internationally. We congratulate her and wish her every success.
