Maggie Magee
Maggie is a mixed media artist whose film work over the past decade has earned her Grammy and Emmy nominations.
Her critically acclaimed Independent films have been screened internationally and she has exhibited her mixed media projects worldwide at such venues as the Sao Paulo Biennial, Sao Paulo, Brazil; The Chinese Art Association. Shanghai, Scan Gallery Sapporo, Japan; National Gallery of Ireland, Dublin Ireland; and Battersea Art Center, London.
Her work has been recognized with awards and grants from the Illinoois Artist Fellowship, Chicago Neighborhood Artists Association and the Irish Council of Fine Art.
She holds a BFA from The National College of Art & Design Dublin Ireland, and MFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago.
Maggie is currently living in Ireland and is working on a series of mixed media paintings. Her work is currently on display at The Contemporary Art Workspace in Chicago, River Bank Loft Gallery, Chicago and Frizzante in Dublin.
